Chapter 1 updates the list of agriculture, veterinary medicine, nutrition, food science and consumption science programs available in the fall of 2004, updates student numbers (total registrations, new registrants and graduates) by university until 2003, and updates the basic data on teaching staff turnover and the number of three-credit courses taught by lecturers. Also included is updated information on research funding and grants from MELS- accredited organizations for 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, as well as funding from other sources.
Chapter 2 reports on the follow-up to the six recommendations made by the University Programs Commission (CUP) in sector report No. 22, published in February 2000.
Chapter 3 discusses the program changes in these fields of study since CUP began operation.
