Once again this year, CREPUQ is a proud partner of the Rendez-vous du Savoir that will be held October 5 and 6 at Palais des congrès de Montréal will focus on the theme How universities contribute to business development.
This year, the Rendez-vous du Savoir will be bringing the business and academic communities together around activities aimed primarily at further strengthening the ties between the academic and business communities. The event aims primarily to recognize the wealth our universities generate and showcase their important contribution to society at the regional, provincial and international levels.
The Rendez-vous du Savoir is an initiative from the province’s leaders that aims at promoting the importance of knowledge for Québec’s economy.
Panel discussion organized by CREPUQ and Montréal International: University contributions to business development - success stories
October 6th, between 8:00 to 11:00
CREPUQ and Montréal International are organizing a series of afternoon presentations to highlight successful university-business ventures and explore the enormous potential of university contributions to business development.
Two people – one representing the university involved, the other from the business – will report on their experience and cover a variety of topics, including the means and mechanisms that gave birth to the project and the results achieved since it was launched.
The general public and interested parties are invited to attend.

CAE Healthcare and the Medicine Faculty of Université de Montréal
BSA and the INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier Research Centre
Hortau and the Faculté des sciences de l’agriculture et de l’alimentation of Université Laval
Chaire internationale en analyse du cycle de vie of École polytechnique de Montréal, (part of CIRAIG) and one partner, to be announced.
