Retention
of official records relating to insurance (contracts, riders, etc.):
as long as the policy is in effect (records relating to claims are kept in
the office until the claim is settled.
2 Retention: 10 years following expiry of the insurance
policy or until complete settlement of all claims relating to the
insurance.
3 Destruction. Policies relating to group insurance are
kept in Archives and are covered under a separate schedule (see schedule
02.20).
4 Retention: Until settlement of the claim. |
