excellence, titles of professor emeritus, chancellor, etc. Files may
contain the following records: curriculum vitae of candidates and
recipients, letters of support, presentation texts, thank-you speeches,
press releases, speeches by members of the institutions, invitations,
correspondence, extracts of minutes of the body approving the conferring
of the distinction, copies of diplomas or certificates awarded, lists of
recipients, etc. |

Archives selection: Retention of list and files of recipients
(curriculum vitae, date and nature of honour conferred, filed of activity,
discipline), methods of conferral, records describing the procedure of
awards ceremonies, lists of unsuccessful candidates, copies of
certificates and degrees awarded. Destruction of unsuccessful
candidates’ files and non-essential support documents.
